Lauren Mitchell returned to Portsoy for the third consecutive year to host the Glenglassaugh Scottish Traditional Boat Festival alongside Andrew Martin. This year’s celebrations were officially opened by Emmerdale star Chris Chittell. With beautiful boats, award winning performances from artists such as Iona Fyfe and a warm community atmosphere, the festival once again proved why it is one of the North East’s most cherished summer events.

Finance and Accountancy Business Awards – A Night to Remember
The inaugural Finance and Accountancy Business Awards lit up Union Kirk in Aberdeen with an evening celebrating the region’s brightest financial talent. Hosted by award‑winning presenter Lauren Mitchell, the night combined elegant dining, well‑deserved honours and a surprise twist – a lively game of Countdown that had guests competing and laughing in equal measure. With funds raised for local charity Archway, the event proved that celebrating financial excellence can be both inspiring and unforgettable.
